Your Journey to the World’s Highest Summit

For Sherpa Climbing Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., the South Col expedition page should highlight the Nepal approach, Sherpa-led expedition heritage, Himalayan scenery, accommodation, season, and a proposed itinerary. Unlike the North Col route through Tibet, the South Col route approaches Everest from Nepal through the Khumbu Valley and the Everest Base Camp region.

Expedition highlights

  • Climb Mount Everest (8,848.86 m) via the classic South Col route from Nepal.

  • Explore the Khumbu Valley, Sherpa villages, and Sagarmatha National Park.

  • Experience the spectacular Everest Base Camp region and surrounding Himalayan peaks.

  • Travel through the legendary Western Cwm and South Col region as part of an authorised expedition.

  • Experience Sherpa culture and the mountaineering heritage of the Everest region.
